The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Adult Mental Health (DBHDD), is hosting a conference bringing together speakers and colleagues from other Veteran and military family serving agencies.

The focus of the conference is to provide a forum to learn about the many ways that the behavioral health, criminal justice, and reintegration supports the needs of Georgia’s veterans, service members, and their families.

1st LT Justin Wells and Dr. David Lane will be presenting Warrior 2 Citizen’s (W2C) Home Life Transition Program (HLTP) and Children Resiliency Programs which has been developed and delivered by mental health professionals and veterans.  Already delivered to over 200 veterans and family members, it has been proven to strengthen family bonds and resiliency resulting in over 80% of the families staying together over the long term.  The Children Resiliency Program is a new initiative of W2C that seeks to address common issues children of military families and veterans face.

We are proud to be able to help others working with Americas Heroes to make a difference to a group to whom we owe so much.
